Prioritize Your Life
Before you can dive into the work of reducing stress, it's essential to get a baseline understanding of where you are right now. What truly matters to you? What are you tolerating, and what is working well? By listing your top ten priorities in order, from most to least important, you can begin to see where your time and energy are going. Create a pie chart to visualize how much time you're currently dedicating to your top five priorities. Be honest with yourself—this is not a time for judgment but for clarity.
"What are your top priorities in life? Sleep? Money? Nutrition? Travel? Work? Meditation? Family?" - Paula Rizzo
Next, list the activities and commitments you've said "yes" to this year in each area of your life. Contrast this with the things you've declined. This exercise helps you recognize patterns and make more intentional decisions moving forward.
